Special Needs Department Services:
The services listed below are available to those students who have received academic testing, perceptual testing and or medical evaluations and qualify. The director of the Special Needs Department will make the final determination if staffing is available at the time to provide these services. Some additional costs may apply depending up the program. Some students may need to be put on a waiting list.
  • Speech & Language Therapy
  • SEARCH & TEACH Therapy
  • NILD Educational Therapy
  • Interactive Metronome Therapy
  • Earobics
  • Visagraph & Reading Plus
  • English as a second language support
  • Independent study classes
  • Resource room study hall class
  • Testing and evaluation for learning disabilities or other learning disorders
  • Evaluation for Developmental Readiness
  • Testing and evaluation for speech and language difficulties
  • Testing and evaluation for English as a second language abilities
  • Testing and evaluation for ADD/ADHD
  • SAT & ACT College Board special accommodations
  • Computerized Weekly or Quarterly Monitoring of class progress
  • Monitor the academic progress and the therapeutic effects of those students on medication for ADD / ADHD or other medications that would have a significant impact on academic learning while at school
