COVID-19 Updates
Dear GIS Community,

I wanted to let you know that the CMT continues to monitor the COVID 19 rise in cases here in Thailand. Thankfully, the numbers here in Chiang Mai remain minimal. As of yet, there is no mandate or change that would prevent us from meeting face to face. The CMT will make any recommendations to the Senior Leadership as needed. But for now, we are still planning on returning to classes Second Semester as planned on January 6, 2021.

Please remember to stay safe, and use good, common sense as you celebrate the New Year. As we look at how other countries are once again going into shut-down mode, we want to do our part to avoid another stay-home situation. GIS leadership is preparing for any contingencies or changes to modes of continuous learning.

For many, this past year has been a very challenging one. And yet, as we look to 2021, we are placing our hope in our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ who is our comforter, our shield, and our mighty fortress. Let’s remember to give thanks for the freedoms we have here in the Kingdom of Thailand. Let’s give thanks for Grace International School and its witness and kingdom impact. Let’s give thanks for the staff, students, school board, and community whom the Lord has brought together. May this coming year be a year that brings us together as a school and community that brings glory and honor to God.

Serving together,

Stephen Anderson
